Stop and Wonder

Stop and Wonder
Hey Everyone! Today's look is one that is super casual and comfy, but is still really cute! First I started off with these burgundy pants. I really love the color of them and how they are different from just regular jeans! Next I added a cream colored cardigan. I love them because they are really versatile and you can pair them with almost anything! Next I added some wedge heels, which if you can't tell by my previous posts I am a little bit obsessed with them! For accessories I added this Burberry scarf! And for a fun little pop of color I added this turquoise ring! Hope you enjoyed this post! Comment below with your thoughts! Oh and on the side of the page is a poll! I would love to hear your answer!

Go Bright Even in the Winter!

Go Bright

Hey Everyone! Today's post is about wearing color even in the winter! I know in my own wardrobe I shy away from color in the winter, but I've been trying to add a bit more color in! This outfit is all about color! I started off with this bright red bandage skirt. Then I added a floral print top with pops of color in red and yellow. To add warmth and tone the shirt and skirt down I added a cream colored cardigan. I added another pop of color with the mustard yellow scarf! I think the colors in this outfit are really unexpected for winter, but they work! For shoes I chose a pair of riding boots that are comfy, but cute! What are your favorite ways to wear color in the winter? Comment below!

Simplistic Chic

Don't be Afraid to Fly

Hey Everyone! Today's outfit is one that would definitely be worn on a warmer day, but even though this outfit is so lightweight it can still work for winter! Just throw on a pea-coat and the outfit will instantly be transformed into a warm winter outfit! The reason I went for a lighter outfit is because the sun was shining all day today! It was bright outside and it reminded me of warm spring days! It was really only an illusion because outside was still freezing cold! Anyways now let's get on to the outfit! I started off with the pinkish/purple shirt! It has a cute little bird pattern on it! I just think it is adorable! I love the shape of it! On top to make this outfit a bit warmer I added a chunky knit scarf! I am becoming more and more obsessed with these everyday! Next I added a simple pair of jeans to make this look casual! Then I added some cute nude heels! I really like these because they are a bit of a deeper nude color! I added a simple brown purse and a charm bracelet! I love the charm bracelet with this look because it adds a touch of simplicity! Normally I add fun bangles or big chunky bracelets to my outfits, but this time I kept it really simple with a charm bracelet! Let me know your thoughts on this look! I love hearing them!

Holiday Series: Candy Canes!

Candy Canes

Hey Everyone! This is another outfit for my holiday series! I thought another casual outfit would be helpful with lots of time spent with family and friends! This one is inspired by a sweater I bought for my sister! I saw a gray version of the sweater above in the store and outfit ideas were running through my head! I love big knit sweaters because they are cozy, casual, and warm for the winter months! Since the sweater is so big I paired the outfit with skinny jeans, but you could do leggings! Next I added these adorable wedges! I just love them! To accessorize a bit I added a heart ring! Lately I have really been loving the black and gold ring combination! I just love how it is girly yet it still has a little bit of edge to it. Since the outfit is mostly neutral I would do a fun nail color! I chose red just because the holiday's are coming up and I thought it was a bit more festive! This is also the outfit to have fun with your makeup! I really like this outfit because you can choose to play around with accessories, makeup, or nails! Happy Holidays! P.S. What's your favorite part of the holidays?

Check out the 1st outfit in this series!

One last thing...Did you notice the new heading on my blog? Also I added reactions below the comments! You can check fashion do or fashion don't!

Holiday Series: Casual Holiday with Family and Friends

Holiday Family Time!

Hey Everyone today is the start of my Holiday outfits series! I am really excited because when the Holidays come up you can get really dressed up or you can keep it casual! The first outfit for this series is a casual one because I thought everyone is going to need just a casual outfit for spending time with friends and family! I love sweaters for winter because they are first of all warm and second of all cute! So I started off with a white sweater because I knew I wanted the pop of color in the outfit to be red to create a really fun, festive look without going over  the top with a reindeer sweater! White is a really good choice because red works really well with it! Next I added jeans to dress the sweater down and make this work for family time! To make this outfit more festive I added some bangles with red rhinestones and some red studded earrings! Next I added some red heels, but if you don't like heels or afraid you are going to freeze in heels just wear some boots! To finish this look off I added a simple clutch that ties in with the red theme! Comment below if you have an Holiday outfit idea requests! And as always comment on this outfit! I would love to hear your thoughts!!!

Chasing autumn

Chasing Autumn

Hey everyone! This look is definitely late fall, early winter! I love this look because it has a pop of color in the hat and in the shoes! To start off take your favorite, cozy sweater and tuck it into a leather skirt. Not only is leather one of this season's biggest trends, but it also easily transitions an outfit into fall/winter! Next add some black tights for extra warmth! Lastly add your accessories, a simple across the shoulder bag, some red shoes, and a knit hat! I love this outfit because of the simple pop of color! Let me know what you think!

Fall Tea Party

Fall Tea Party

Hey Everyone! Today's look is a little bit more on the dressy side, but it is perfect for those kinda of dressy occasions. I started off with this pale pink skirt, which doesn't look very wintry, but when paired with the right colors it definitely transitions into winter. To go with the skirt I would pair just a basic white top! I use a basic white top in a lot of my outfits and that is mainly because they are so versatile! Next I added a maroon colored cardigan, but any darker fall/winter color would work! The point of adding the cardigan is not only for warmth, but to transition the whole outfit into fall/winter! For jewelry I added a simple, delicate heart ring! I love this ring and really want to purchase it for myself! Next to spice up the plain shirt I added a necklace! For shoes I added these yellow mustard flats, but any contrasting color to the cardigan will work! Flats aren't exactly completely practical for winter especially if their is snow on the ground! So my tip would be to wear boots and then when you get to your occasion where you will be inside I would switch to flats!

Pretty Pieces!

Hey everyone! This is going to be a bit different from my regular posts, but I thought it might be fun to switch it up! So as you can see below I created a collage! I put some of the pieces that have recently been catching my eye as I created other polyvore outfits for this blog! In the collage I have the pieces numbered and I will be talking about each one.
Okay!
#1- The first piece is a loose fitted black and white stripped shirt! I absolutely love it because it is so simply, but paired with the right outfit it could be so chic! I think it would look great with a pair of jeans and some heels and you are ready to go for a casual fall day, to transition it into winter put on a coat over it and bundle up pinky maroon colored scarf! Another option would be too pair this with a high waisted skirt!
#2- This dress is just gorgeous! It would be great for a dinner out with friends! This dress seems like it would flatter someone who is tall because it is a bit longer, but whether you are tall or not this dress is just so pretty! I would pair it with some black heels and some statement earrings! The dress is already the center piece so anything more might be too much!
Pretty Pieces
#3- I love this shirt, I love the pale tone to the color! I love the detailing of the floral lace. This shirt would look great paired with a simple a-line skirt or a simple pair of jeans and some riding boots! This piece is definitely something unique!
#4- For some reason I have really started to like the sequined dresses this season! I think it would be perfect for a holiday party or a school dance!  I love the cut of this dress, I love how it gives definition at the waist and how the neckline is so pretty! This dress already shines on its own so no accessories are needed, but you could definitely add some simple stud earrings if you wanted too!
#5- One reason I love this skirt is because of the color and the another reason is because it is leather, together those two things make this a girly piece with an edge! I love pieces like that! Plus leather is definitely in this season and works really well in the fall and winter months. This color is a bright one, but with the right top this could be a super cute winter outfit that brightens up the dark days!
Last thing...If you would like me to create any outfit for any of these pieces let me know in the comments below and I definitely will! As always comment with any other of your thoughts!

Preppy!

Preppy
Hey Everyone! Today's look is super preppy! And I understand not everybody likes the preppy look, but for those of you that do these outfits are perfect, I am going to be only talking about the middle outfit, but feel free to comment about any of the three. So to start off someone asked how to style this orange/yellow sweater in a preppy way! The outfit above is what I came up with! Like a lot of my outfits a great pair of jeans are essential! Next I added a plaid shirt in neutral colors because when layering it is best to stick with neutrals and one accent color to make sure the outfit doesn't clash! Next add the orange/yellow sweater over it for extra warmth! Lastly add a pair of brown flats! The ones above are really cute and super versatile! Let me know what you think!

Rustic Rush

Rustic Rush
Hey Everyone! Today is a look that may not be for everyone, some people may absolutely hate the sweater, but I think it is a really cute fall piece! This sweater is something you could throw on in seconds over a plain black shirt and you could look like you spent hours picking out your outfit! I love this look because it is an easy fall outfit! To go with the sweater go with some simple jeans and for a touch of roughness add some military style boots! Since the sweater is so bold keep it super simple with the accessories by adding a statement ring and a cross body purse! I love this look! Share your thoughts in the comments below! I would love to hear them! Also I would appreciate if you voted on the poll on the side of the page!

Breaking a Rule: Mixing Black and Brown

Mixing Black and Brown

Hey Everyone! Today's post is all about breaking a fashion rule! The fashion rule we are going to be breaking is wearing black and brown together! A this fashion rule is a rule for a reason because if done the wrong way it just looks plain bad! But when these colors are mixed the right way it can look amazing! I absolutely love this look! It is so simple yet so fun and fall like! I really like how this look is perfect for wearing bold makeup because the outfit itself is all neutral! This sweater dress would be really warm and cozy for a chiller fall day! By itself this dress can be shapeless though so add a belt to define your waist! I would no doubt add black tights or leggings. For shoes I would just do a basic pair of riding boots and to add extra warmth add some cute leg warmers with the tops peeking out of the boots! Keep it really simple with accessories! Add stud earrings if your hair is down and dangly earrings if your hair is up because it will frame your face! And like I said have fun with your makeup because the outfit is all neutral and it would look great to have a pop of color in your makeup!

NEW SERIES..COMMENT?
**I think I am going to be starting a series on my blog called Breaking a Rule where I find a fashion rule and show you how to break it while still looking fashionable! If you have any rules you would like me to break leave a comment below!

Simplicity

Simplicity

Hey everyone! Today's post is super basic! I absolutely love the simplicity in the outfit! I just started out with the basics, a plain white t-shirt and some skinny jeans! Jeans and a simple white t-shirt are items in your wardrobe you should splurge on! You want to find a great fit because these pieces can be worn in so many ways that you will use them all of the time! Okay so now that we have our basics we need to spice them up just a bit! I added some gold/bronze colored oxfords! I really love them! Next I added the mustard color scarf! It will keep you warm and it will add a touch of color to the outfit! To make this fall appropriate I would wear a simple brown blazer! My favorite part of this outfit is definitely the ring! It is so simple yet so beautiful! I really love this outfit because even though it is simple it is so beautiful. It really symbolizes the idea that you don't need to do a lot to show you care just simply be yourself and beauty will shine through! Comment below with your thoughts!

Summer Pieces in the Fall and Oxfords!

Summer into Fall-Oxfords

Hey Everyone! Today's post is all about transitioning your summer clothes into your fall wardrobe! Fall is definitely here now and I always find myself looking at my summer clothes and trying to figure out how to wear them appropriately in the fall, I really want to expand my fall wardrobe, but without having to spend lots of money! So today is created two similar looks, one is more comfy casual and the other is more going out casual.
 COMFY CASUAL
Okay so let's start off with the comfy casual. First I started off with a creamy/white colored sweater. I love this sweater because its big and will keep you warm! This sweater is a basic for fall because you can pair it with jeans, some riding boots, and a pretty scarf and you are ready to go, but in this case we are pairing it with a skirt. This skirt is pretty summery, but the colors in it transition really well into fall! When wearing this skirt in the fall I would pair it with some tights or leggings for extra warmth. One reason I love pairing a big, chunky, knit sweater with this skirt is because the skirt is tight and to make this daytime appropriate you need to balance out the tight bottom with a big top. For shoes these oxfords are perfect! They mix the cream color of the sweater with the neutral brown in the skirt! For a final touch I added a maroon colored scarf that adds a pop of color to the outfit!
 GOING OUT CASUAL
Now onto the going out casual look! I took the same skirt, but this time I used a basic white t-shirt that I am sure all of you own. Next to balance out the tight skirt I added a big sweater, in this really unique brown color! It is really cute and will keep you really warm! Again add tights to keep  your legs extra warm and wear a basic pair of oxfords for shoes!  To add a little bit of something extra put on a pretty layered gold necklace!
COMMENT WITH YOUR THOUGHTS! I would love to hear them!

Pretty Fierce

Pretty Fierce

Hey Everyone! Today I decided to create a fun, feminine look, that has a touch of fierceness to it! This look is really simple, it reminds me of something you would go out to lunch in or for a casual day in the fall! I started off with the rose colored shirt above. It is pretty flowy, but has a detailed neckline that definitely dresses the shirt up! Next I added jeans and a simple brown belt! For jewelry I kept it very simple with some gold bangles and a pair of gold stud earrings. For a purse I matched the brown in the belt to it . It is a simple bag that is perfect for fall! And of course the best part of the outfit the shoes! I chose a cheetah print ballet flat with a bow! I love these shoes, they don't over power the outfit they just add a little bit of edge to the otherwise simple outfit! Comment below whether you like the outfit or not! Also tell me if you like the posts that are have a more collage feel like my previous one, Brights in the fall, or if you like this where it is just pieces for the outfit and a simple background!

Brights in the Fall

Hey Everyone! So I know I haven't posted in awhile, but
today I thought I would do a fun, bright look that CAN be worn in the fall!
I really think this look is fun for daytime, going shopping, out to lunch, etc. I was on polyvore.com trying to create a look and saw the picture of the outfit
and I thought it was so cute! So I basically just created a
collage centered around that outfit. I also added a necklace and a bracelet.
The bracelet option is a little bit different. It doesn't quite match,
but it adds a fun pop of print. I actually really love this outfit mainly because
of the sweater! The sweater looks really pretty, but warm for fall! I don't think I would love the sweater so much if I hadn't seen it paired with these coral pants, which are very bold, but so cute! If you are someone who loves to experiment with bright colors I would definitely go for this look! If you are a little shy of trying something bold switch out the bright pants for a simple pair of jeans(light or dark wash..I think both would look fine!) Comment below whether you like this outfit! Also if you know of any Fashion Tags, I would love to answer one on here! ***I am having so much trouble posting on this blog and I am trying my best to fix it, but the words keep overlapping! If anyone knows how to fix this problem let me know! Also if you want a better view of the collage click on it and it will take you to my polyvore page.***

Hello October!-What to wear to a Corn Maze or a Pumpkin Patch

Hello, October
Hey Everyone! Today I created a really fun look for going to pumpkin patch, corn maze, apple picking, and anything else outdoor and fall! I have no idea if you do any of these activities in the fall, but I thought it would be a fun post either way! I created two looks, you can really mix and match a lot of the pieces so feel free to do so to fit what you like into one outfit.  Okay so I started off just making the first outfit which is the one with yoga pants and the over sized sweatshirt! This look is so comfortable and perfect for fall! It will definitely keep you warm if you wear a long sleeve under the sweatshirt. For shoes go with any kind of boot, UGGS work really well! For a purse I would go with a small across the shoulder bag. A bag just big enough to keep your wallet and phone. If you really don't want to bring a purse, (I hate having to worry about not losing it) you can probably fit your phone and wallet in your UGGS. The second outfit is a little bit more dressed up compared to the first one. I started with a plaid shirt which is a basic for fall, under the plaid shirt do a simple navy blue tank or a long sleeve if you think you will be cold. If it is still pretty chilly throw on a simple cream colored cardigan, tuck the plaid shirt in at the front and belt it at your waist. ( I know this may be a little bit confusing, sorry) Again you can wear UGGs or your favorite fall boots or even just a simple pair of converse! And I couldn't help but add the caribou apple cider! I love hot apple cider with whip cream and caramel! So good!! What is your favorite fall time drink? Also would you like more fall looks like this?

October is Here!

Hey Everyone so October is here and that means fall is here! I absolutely Love fall fashion! I love  the different ways of layering things, I love the fun shoes and boots and I love how gorgeous it is outside! I have already done some fall looks, but I wanted to make this post to update my blog! I haven't posted in over a week! One of my next blog posts is going to be what to wear to an outdoor Haunted House/ Corn Maze! I am really excited to create a look for that occasion! If you have any other fall themed occasions let me know in the comments below! Also thank you for reading my blog! It means a lot and I really do love posting on here!
